We are based at 192 Pocket 1 in Dwarka Sector 14. This part of Delhi is quite organized, but our office still feels very much like a local spot. We aren't tucked away in a high-rise. We are on a street where people live and walk their dogs. Our work involves holiday planning and resorts, so we spend a lot of time on our computers looking at photos of places far away from the city heat. The office itself is quite modest. There are a few tables and some folders stacked up in the corner. We don't have a big team of sales people in suits. It’s just a few of us who know how the travel business works. Sometimes people from the neighborhood drop in to ask about a trip they want to take next summer. We have a water dispenser that makes a loud gulping sound every time someone uses it, which usually makes us laugh. The internet can be a bit slow on rainy days, which makes things a bit difficult when we are trying to confirm bookings. We use a lot of handwritten notes because it’s just easier to keep track of things that way. Dwarka is a good place to work because it’s not as chaotic as the center of the city. We just keep our heads down and try to get the dates and prices right for everyone who asks us for help.
