Seema Loz Hotel is right in the thick of things in Churiwalan. If you go to Plot 3745 in Churiwalan, that’s us. It’s a very old part of Delhi, so the streets are narrow and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Being near the Chawri Bazar Metro Station is the main thing because that’s how most people find their way to this part of the city. The hotel isn’t a grand place with carpets and valets. It’s more of a spot for people who need to stay in the heart of the market. We get travelers who are in town for business in the bazaar or people just passing through. The building is older, and you can hear the sounds of the rickshaws and the vendors all day long. It gets quiet late at night, but the mornings start early here. We spend a lot of time checking people in and out and making sure the rooms are okay. It’s a lot of stairs and walking through tight hallways. Living and working in Chawri Bazar means you get used to the crowd. We don't have a big lobby or anything, just a desk and the rooms. It’s a practical place to put your bags down when you're in the city. Most of our guests are regulars who know exactly which turn to take to get here from the metro.
