Sasta Designer

Our place is located in the Jhilmil Industrial Area, very close to the Dilshad Garden Metro station. It is a very busy and crowded part of the city to work in. We do a lot of designing and fabric cutting here every day. It is definitely more of a production unit than one of those fancy boutiques you see in the malls. There are sewing machines running almost all the time, so it gets quite loud. The floor usually has scraps of colorful fabric and thread lying around. We make clothes for people who want something that looks decent but they don't want to spend a fortune on it. That is why we named the place Sasta Designer. It is just being honest about what we do here. We don't have a big glass display window to show off the clothes. You just have to come up to the unit and talk to us about what you need. We have been in this particular building for several years now. Being near the metro makes it much easier for people to reach us, which helps a lot. It gets very hot in the summer months because of all the machines and the pressing irons. We just drink plenty of tea and keep working through the day to get the orders finished. We don't have any brochures, you just look at what we are making.
