Balkishan Sewak

I work out of room 314 at the Patiala House Courts. If you have ever been there, you know it is a very busy place with people rushing everywhere and lots of paperwork flying around. My name is Balkishan Sewak, and this is where I spend most of my day. It is a small office, mostly filled with files and books that have seen better days. The atmosphere at the courts is always intense, but you get used to the noise and the constant movement after a while. I handle various tasks related to the legal system here. It is not like what you see on television; it is mostly a lot of waiting, writing, and making sure all the documents are filed in the right place. I have been in this spot for a good while, so I know my way around the corridors. People come in with all sorts of problems, and I just try to help them navigate the paperwork and the procedures. It is a practical job that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes I am at my desk all day, and other times I am moving between different parts of the building. It is just me here, doing the work that needs to be done without any extra fuss. It is a straightforward setup in a very historic part of the city. I don't use a secretary or anything fancy, just a phone and a lot of pens.
