Malik Zippers

Malik Zippers is right near the post office in Naraina Village, at Wz 48 B. If you’re looking for us, just look for the old sign near the corner. It's a busy part of New Delhi 28, so there's always noise from the street coming through the door. We’ve got boxes of zippers and fasteners stacked up almost to the ceiling in the back. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we can find exactly what a customer needs in a few minutes. We deal with all sorts of people, from big garment makers to folks just needing a single replacement for a jacket. The machines can be a bit loud when they're running, but we've gotten used to it over the years. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep us going. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn't really matter for what we do. We’ve been in Naraina Village for a long time now and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. It's a good community. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That's just how life is here. We do our best to help everyone out and get the orders ready on time without making a big fuss.
