We are located in Palika Bazar, which is shop number 20. If you know Connaught Place, you know how busy it gets around Janpath. Being underground in Palika means we don't see the sun much during the day, but there is always a crowd. The address is 20, Palika Bazar, Janpath, Connaught Place, 110001. We have been in this market for a long time. It’s a different world down here, with all the shops tucked away and people bargaining everywhere. My father started things here, and now we just carry it on. It is not a very big shop, just enough to keep our things and talk to the customers. The air conditioning in Palika is a relief during the Delhi summers. We see all kinds of people, from tourists to locals looking for a deal. It’s a very noisy place, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't really have a website or do much online stuff. People just walk in while they are exploring CP. The rent is high and the space is tight, but it’s home for us. We deal with the daily issues like any other shop owner in the city. It’s just how business is done in Palika. You make friends with the neighbors and keep going. Every day is different, and that's what keeps it interesting. We just set up every morning and wait for the first customer of the day. It's a living.
