If you go down Mkn Road in Alandur, you’ll find us at number 326. Camiceria Apparels Indian Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend our days dealing with clothes and fabrics. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We’ve got machines running and people busy with cutting and sewing most of the time. It isn't a quiet place. We deal with a lot of different garments, and the tables are usually piled high with material. Alandur is a good spot for us because it’s easy for everyone to get to. Sometimes the traffic on Mkn Road makes deliveries a bit slow, but we manage. We aren’t a giant corporation with thousands of workers, just a steady team doing our part in the apparel business. We don't have a glossy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a working floor where the actual making happens. You might see some thread on the floor or stacks of boxes waiting to be moved. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it one day at a time. The building itself is plain, but it serves us well. We’ve been at this location for a bit now and know the neighbors pretty well. It’s a simple life of stitching and checking sizes, and we like it that way.
