Bags Town

You can find us at 8-b Shahpurjat, which is a really interesting part of Delhi near Asian Village. It’s an old urban village area that has become full of small boutiques and workshops. Our place, Bags Town, is one of those spots. The lanes around here are very narrow, so you can't really drive a big car right to the door. We’re used to walking through the winding paths to get to work every morning. The building we’re in is older, and the walls are a bit thick, which helps keep it cool when the sun is out. Inside, it’s a bit of a jumble of bags and materials. We don't have a fancy window display, just a simple door and a small sign. There are always lots of stray cats around the neighborhood and people carrying rolls of fabric back and forth. It’s a very creative atmosphere, even if it’s a bit dusty and chaotic at times. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we sort through the day's tasks. The tea seller down the lane knows exactly how we like our ginger chai, which is nice. We’ve been in Shahpurjat for a few years and have seen shops come and go, but we’re still here at 8-b, just doing our daily work. It’s a bit of a maze, but we like it here.
