S & G World New Delhi

Our office is situated at B-134 in Shivalik, which is a fairly quiet part of New Delhi compared to the main market areas. It’s mostly residential around here, so we don't have to deal with the crazy crowds you find in places like Chandni Chowk. We’ve been operating S & G World from this spot for some time now. It’s a comfortable space, not too big and not too small. We have a few desks pushed together and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. There’s a small tree right outside the front window that gives us a bit of shade in the summer months, which we all appreciate. We mostly deal with trade and coordination, so a lot of our day is spent on the phone or looking at the computer screen. It’s a quiet routine, usually starting around ten in the morning after the worst of the traffic has settled down. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby; if you knock on the door, one of us will just get up and let you in. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most, but it doesn't bother us. We like being in Shivalik because it’s easy for us to get to other parts of the city when we need to, but it’s still peaceful enough to actually get some work done without too many distractions.
