Naveen Collection

If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded it gets, especially around Rui Mandi. Our shop, Naveen Collection, is right in the middle of that chaos at Ram Rahim Market. We are up on the third floor at No. 5022/6. It’s a bit of a hike up the stairs, and carrying heavy bags up there is definitely a workout. The building is old and the corridors are narrow, filled with stacks of goods and people rushing around. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and there’s always someone shouting for a rickshaw outside. We’ve been here for a long time and the atmosphere of the market is just part of our daily life. Inside the shop, space is tight because we try to fit as much stock as we can on the shelves. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that clatter while they spin. It gets very hot in the summer, but that’s just how it is in the bazaar. We spend our days sorting through the collections and talking to the regulars who come up to see what’s new. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized when there’s so much coming in and going out every day. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just open the doors and get to work. It’s a gritty, busy place but it’s where we belong and we know the rhythm of the market well.
