Laxay Information & Technology is up on the first floor at 1157/ A- 1. It’s right in the New Krishna Market in West Rohtash Nagar. Shahdara is always crowded, so getting to the office in the morning involves a lot of dodging rickshaws and delivery bikes. Once you get up the stairs, it’s a bit quieter than the street level. We have a few rooms filled with old desks and a lot of technology equipment. It’s not a modern glass office. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We handle a lot of different IT tasks for local businesses and people around the neighborhood. Sometimes the stairs are a bit narrow if we are carrying heavy boxes up, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’ve been in this part of Shahdara for a long time. The market downstairs has everything, so we never have to go far for a cup of tea or a quick snack. We just do our work, talk to the customers who climb up to see us, and try to keep everything running. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We don't have any big titles or fancy suits here. Just a couple of guys who know how to work with computers and software. The fans make a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool enough while we work.
