Odeon Bpo

Our office is right on the ground floor over in Wazir Nagar, specifically at 1407/3 in the Kotla Mubarakpur area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it stays pretty active. Being in a BPO, we spend a lot of time on computers and on the phone. It’s not the quietest job, but we enjoy the rhythm of it. The office is decent enough. We’ve got desks lined up and some old fans that keep us cool when the Delhi heat gets too much. People usually walk past the ground floor windows all day, so there’s always something to look at during breaks. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. We’re a smaller group just trying to do our work well and get home on time. Some of us have been here for years. We know the tea seller around the corner really well. He brings us chai twice a day which helps keep us going through the long shifts. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, which is just part of life here, but we find ways to stay busy. It’s a practical space without any unnecessary decorations. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to help the people who call us. It’s just a normal day-to-day business where everyone knows each other’s names. We stay late some nights when there is a lot of work, but that is just how the industry is.
