Rockland Hotel Delhi

Our hotel is located at D.A437 in Shalimar Bagh. It is a decent-sized building in a part of New Delhi that stays fairly busy throughout the day. We have been running things here for a while, and the place has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. It is not one of those ultra-modern glass hotels you see in the magazines. Instead, it is a practical spot for people who need a bed for the night or a place to stay while visiting family in the area. The lobby has a few chairs that have been there since we opened, and the front desk is usually manned by one of us who knows the local streets well. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the water is running hot for the guests. Sometimes the lift makes a bit of noise, but it works just fine. We have a small kitchen area where we put together simple meals if someone is hungry. It is mostly quiet at night, which is good for the people staying with us. We see all kinds of travelers passing through these doors, from businessmen to families on holiday. We don’t go in for anything too flashy here. We just make sure the doors are locked at night and that everyone has what they need for their stay in Shalimar Bagh.
