Remco Button Industries

We've been here at the D. S. I. D. C Complex for a good while now. It's just units 7 and 8, right near the State Bank of India in Raghubir Nagar. It gets pretty loud with the machines running all day, but that is just how it is when you make buttons. Most days we are just sorting through stocks or checking the dyes. It isn't a fancy place. There's usually boxes piled up near the door. People come by when they need specific fasteners for shirts or trousers. We spend a lot of time looking at tiny details. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's a living. We know the neighbors well and the tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It's mostly just work, getting orders ready and making sure the counts are right. If you walk past the bank, you'll probably hear us before you see us. The floor is always covered in little bits of plastic or metal. We try to keep it tidy but it's hard when things are moving fast. My brother helps out with the ledger sometimes. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the workshop and the machines. It's what we know. We have been in this spot for years and the locals know where to find us if they need buttons in bulk. It is a simple life and we just keep at it every day.
