Discover Holidays

We are on the second floor of Gupta Palace, which is right across from the Rajouri Garden metro station. It’s a very convenient spot, though the traffic underneath the metro line is always something else. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the crowds. Discover Holidays is basically just us sitting at our desks, surrounded by travel brochures and maps. The office is a bit old-fashioned, maybe. We have some posters on the walls that have been there for years. We spend our time figuring out itineraries and talking to hotels. It’s a lot of screen time. Sometimes we get people just walking in because they saw the sign from the street. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we tell people to take their time. We aren’t a big travel agency with a glossy storefront. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. The metro announcements are like background music for us now. We know the tea seller downstairs pretty well. It’s a busy life in Rajouri, but we like being in the middle of it. We just focus on the details of the trips we’re planning. Sometimes the computers get slow, but we manage. We’ve got a small balcony where we can stand for a minute to get some air before getting back to the bookings.
