We are located at No. 6424 Katra Baryan in the Fateh Puri area, which is right in the heart of Old Delhi. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow the lanes are and how crowded it gets with rickshaws, carts, and people all trying to get through at once. Our building is quite old, with those steep stairs and thick walls that hold onto the cold in the winter. At Rainbow Impex, the space is filled with documents, samples, and stacks of shipping crates. It’s a bit of a squeeze, and we have to be very careful with how we organize everything so we don't trip over things. The smell of the nearby spice market often wafts in, which is nice, though the dust from the street is less welcome. We have a small team here, and we’ve all been together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things. We don't use any fancy software or high-tech gadgets; most of our tracking is still done with simple ledgers and pens. The phone rings constantly, and someone is always shouting to be heard over the noise of the street. It’s a hectic place to work, but there’s a lot of history in these walls and in the streets around us. We take our tea breaks standing by the entrance just to watch the madness of Fateh Puri go by for a few minutes.
