Our office is at 8/46 in Mehram Nagar. We’re right near the domestic airport in Delhi Cantt, which means we hear planes taking off and landing pretty much all the time. You get used to the noise after a few days, and now we barely notice it. P.K. Hospitality Pvt Ltd is run from this spot. Being so close to the airport makes sense for what we do. The building is a bit older, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We spend our time coordinating things and talking to people on the phone. It's not a glamorous lifestyle. Most of us wear comfortable clothes because there's no point in dressing up just to sit in a back office. We have a small kitchen area where we heat up our tiffins at lunchtime. The smell of curry usually fills the hallway around noon. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the hospitality side of things and try to make sure everything goes smoothly for the people we serve. It’s a lot of logistics and double-checking lists. Some days are long, especially when travel schedules get messed up, but we stay until the work is done. It’s just how we do things here in Mehram Nagar. It’s a busy life but it keeps us on our toes and we like the pace of being near the runways.
