Parijat

Parijat is located at M-77 in the M-Block Market. If you know the market, you know it gets incredibly busy on the weekends. We have been in this spot for a while now. The shop is small and filled with a lot of different items we’ve collected over time. We don't really have a big display window, so the inside is where everything happens. Every morning starts with moving some of the racks closer to the door so people passing by can see what’s new. The floor is old tile and it has a few cracks, but it’s sturdy enough for the heavy foot traffic. We spend a lot of time talking to the delivery guys who bring in the new bags of stock. The M-Block Market has a lot of energy, and we are just a small part of that daily noise. Sometimes we have to deal with the water pipes acting up or the internet being slow, which can be annoying when we’re trying to finish up for the day. We aren't trying to be the most modern shop around. We just want to make sure we have enough variety on the shelves for anyone who stops by to look. It’s mostly about keeping the shelves full and the customers happy enough to come back next time. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and tagging items, but that’s just how we run things here at M-77.
