Open Loom (India) Private Limited

We are located at House No- 58 in the Banarasi Dass Estate area of Timarpur. Our office is on the ground floor, which is nice because we don't have to climb any stairs. Timarpur has its own quiet vibe compared to other parts of North East Delhi. Open Loom (India) is basically where we manage our textile work. We have samples hanging up and some old folders filled with fabric swatches from years ago. The building is one of those older Delhi houses that has been converted a bit for business use. It feels more like a home than a corporate office. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and that’s usually where we end up talking about the day’s plan. The walls are a bit plain and could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to really worry about that. Most days involve a lot of phone calls to weavers and checking on production schedules. Lucknow Road is right nearby, so it’s easy enough for people to find us. We don't have any big meetings or presentations. It’s usually just us sitting around a table looking at cloth and deciding which ones to go with. It’s a practical way to work and it suits us just fine. The area is green and a bit more peaceful than the main markets. We usually finish up and lock the gate by six in the evening.
