We work out of G-67 in Vishwash Park, which is part of the Uttam Nagar area in New Delhi. It’s a very crowded and lively part of the city. While the hotels we are connected with are very grand and historic, our office here is much more down-to-earth. We handle a lot of the bookings and back-office tasks that keep the hotels running smoothly. It’s a small place and sometimes it feels like we are right on top of each other, especially when the phones are ringing non-stop during the holiday season. Uttam Nagar is famous for its narrow streets and bustling markets, so just getting to work is an adventure every morning. We don't have a fancy lobby or a doorman here. It’s just us and our computers in a building that’s seen better days. We talk to people from all over the world on the phone, but when we step outside, we’re right back in the middle of Delhi life with all its noise and dust. We don't bother with corporate talk because we don't have time for it. We just focus on making sure the guests have their rooms ready when they arrive at the actual hotels. It’s a busy, unpolished kind of life, and we are just a small part of the big machine that is Neemrana. We do our best and keep things moving. There is always someone coming in or out with a new list of things to do.
