Our office is located right in the Sunder Nagar Market, at number 16 A. If you know the area, it’s a pretty well-known spot in New Delhi. We don't actually have a hotel at this specific address; this is where we do all the behind-the-scenes work like managing the books and talking to suppliers. It’s a small space and it gets quite cramped when we have deliveries coming in. The market outside is usually busy with shoppers and people grabbing a bite to eat, so there’s a lot of energy around us. Inside, it’s mostly just us on the phones or typing away. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the different properties to make sure they have what they need for the guests. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles with the Delhi summer, and we all just sit there with fans on our desks. It’s a lot of logistics and paperwork that most people never think about when they stay in a hotel. We’ve been here at Sunder Nagar for a long time, so we know all the other shop owners on the block. It’s a friendly enough place, even if the work gets a bit stressful during the peak travel seasons. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the bookings and the maintenance schedules. It’s a regular business office with its own share of daily small problems to solve.
