We are located in D-Mall over at Netaji Subhash Place, specifically in unit 808. Being on the eighth floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators, especially during the lunch hour when everyone is heading down at once. The mall is always busy, but once you get up to our office, it’s a bit quieter. We handle impex work here, so it’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at logistics screens. The space is filled with filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. We have a small window that looks out over the parking area and the metro line. You can see the trains coming and going all day long. It’s a functional space, nothing too pretty. We keep the kettle going for tea and coffee throughout the day. The air conditioning works okay, though it struggles a bit when the sun hits the glass in the afternoon. We mostly deal with paperwork, shipping manifests, and coordinating with people at the ports. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the courier guys are late and we end up staying a bit longer than we planned. That’s just the nature of this business. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll just see us at our desks working away. It’s a straightforward office for a straightforward job, and it works for us.
