House Of Scarves

Our office is in the Didar Commercial Complex, which is right in the DLF Industrial Area. We are in Room Number 105, on the first floor. It’s an industrial zone, so there are always big trucks moving around and a lot of noise from the nearby workshops. Our room is packed with scarves of all kinds. We have stacks of them in plastic bags piled up on the metal shelves. Every day we are sorting through different colors and fabrics like silk and wool. It gets a bit dusty because of all the fabric and the location, so we have to keep things covered up as much as possible. We don't have a big showroom or fancy furniture; it's mostly just work tables and a couple of chairs for when we need to take a break. We spend our time checking the prints and making sure the edges are finished properly before we pack them for the orders. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the power in the complex goes out, and we just have to sit by the window and wait for it to come back. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. We know most of the other people working in the building, and we sometimes grab tea together downstairs.
