Travel India World

The office for Travel India World is tucked away at K-6/64 in Mohan Garden. If you know the Uttam Nagar area, you know it can get pretty crowded and loud. We have been sitting in this same spot for a while now, dealing with all kinds of travel requests. It’s mostly just a few desks, some old computers, and a lot of papers stacked up. People come in asking about train timings or how much a flight might cost to a different state. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or staring at the screen trying to find a route that works for someone. It’s not like those big companies you see on the internet. We are just local people helping other local people get where they need to go. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to tell the customers to wait a bit while we refresh the pages. We drink a lot of chai while we wait for bookings to confirm. The neighborhood is full of small shops like ours, so it feels like a community. We see the same faces walking past the window every day. It gets a bit hectic during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go home at once, but we manage. We aren’t trying to do anything fancy, just keeping the shop open and helping people with their tickets and tours without any fuss at all.
