Metropolitan Hotel

Our building is over in Gole Market, House 403/86 in Sector 1. It’s an old part of New Delhi, so things have a lot of character around here. We have rooms for people who need a place to stay that isn't too expensive. It's not a five-star place with gold curtains, but the beds are decent and we keep it clean. The staff has been here a long time and we know the area well. If you need a tea or some water, just ask the person at the front desk. The market outside is always noisy and full of life, which is nice if you want to see the real city. We get a lot of travelers who just need a spot for the night before catching a train. The plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes, but we fix it quick when someone says something. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some people stay for a week, others just for a few hours to rest. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a place to check in and go to your room. It feels like home to us because we spend so much time here. The stairs are a bit narrow, so watch your step when you come in. We are just regular people trying to run a hotel in a busy city.
