You can find us over at Flat No. 780 in Sector 1 of R.K. Puram. It is a residential area in New Delhi, which makes the office feel more like a home than a workplace. We have boxes stacked up in the corners quite often because Metaphor Exports handles a lot of moving parts. Working out of a flat means we have to be very organized with our space. New Delhi is always moving fast, and R.K. Puram is no different. The street noise comes in through the windows, but we do not mind it much. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons dealing with the logistics of getting things from one place to another. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls to people who are usually in a hurry. My sister helps out with the ledger sometimes when it gets too messy. We do not have a big sign outside, so people usually have to look for the flat number. The 110022 pin code is quite central, so getting around is not too bad unless the traffic is really jammed up. We have a small kettle for making coffee and that is about the only luxury we have here. It is just a regular business doing regular work. We like the neighborhood because it is quiet enough to actually get things done during the day. We just keep our heads down and handle the export tasks as they come.
