Arsad Handicrafts

We are located on the second floor of a building in Mohammdpur, specifically at F-2/131. It is a busy area and the stairs can be a bit narrow when you are carrying heavy bags or supplies up. Arsad Handicrafts is really just a workshop where we spend our hours working with our hands. It smells like glue and raw materials most of the time. We do not have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have workbenches that have seen better days and tools that are well-worn from years of use. There are about five or six of us here on a regular day. We talk a lot while we work, mostly about the weather or what is for dinner. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits. We wear old clothes that we do not mind getting dirty. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start over, which is frustrating, but that is just part of making things by hand. The neighborhood is loud, with motorcycles passing by all the time, but we do not notice it much anymore. We just focus on the item in front of us. We try to keep things simple and honest. When an order is done, we wrap it up and move on to the next one. It is steady work and it keeps us out of trouble every day.
