May Imperial Hotel

We are located on the second floor of the building at A-17/2 in Rana Pratap Bagh. This part of Delhi is always moving, and you can hear the street noise from our windows throughout the day. The stairs leading up to our floor are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful when you are carrying bags. We don't have a big, fancy lobby with marble floors or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we manage things. The rooms are simple and we try to keep them as clean as the Delhi dust allows. We spend a lot of our time just keeping the place running, fixing things when they break, and talking to people who stop by. In the afternoons, we usually sit around and have some tea while we plan for the next day. The neighborhood has a lot of little shops and eateries nearby, which is handy. It is a bit of an older building, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky tap or a door that sticks a little in the humidity. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the city, just a decent spot where people can find us. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the building inside and out. It is just a regular local business doing its best in a busy city.
