You can find our main office on the third floor of a building in Wazir Nagar, right in the Kotla Mubarakpur area. The address is 1514/12, and it is a bit of a climb if the lift is not working right that day. Even though we are in the hotel business, this office is where all the behind-the-scenes stuff happens. It is not like the fancy lobbies you see in our hotels. Here, it is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of talk about bookings and supplies. Kotla Mubarakpur is a very busy, crowded part of New Delhi, so just getting to the office in the morning can be a bit of an adventure with the traffic. We have got stacks of linens or samples of soaps sitting in the corners sometimes. The staff here is pretty small, but we handle everything from payroll to fixing issues at the actual hotel properties. We are not into big corporate speeches; we just want to make sure the rooms are clean and the guests are happy. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the accounts, and we will just order some food from the local shops downstairs. It is a very grounded way of working. We have been in this Wazir Nagar spot for a while now, and we know all the other shopkeepers around. It is a noisy, lively place to work, but it keeps us on our toes.
