Malhotra Metal Arts

Malhotra Metal Arts is situated on G.T. Road in the Shahdara area of Delhi. Specifically, we are at Plot No. 1/1170. If you are coming this way, we are very close to the Punjab National Bank branch. Being on G.T. Road means it is incredibly busy all the time. There is a constant stream of cars, rickshaws, and buses passing by our front door. The building itself is an older one, and you can feel the vibrations of the heavy trucks when they go past. We have a small workspace where we do most of our metal arts. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of materials stacked up against the walls. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some strong lamps over the workbenches. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. There is a lot of history in this part of Shahdara, and many of the shops around us have been here for generations. We know the neighbors well, and we often chat with the people from the bank next door during tea breaks. It’s a noisy, fast-paced place to work, but it suits us just fine. We just focus on the pieces we are working on and try to keep things moving as best as we can.
