Our shop has been here for a long time. It’s a traditional kind of business where we know many of our customers by name. We don’t have a website or any social media pages. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. The space is filled with all sorts of items we’ve traded over the years. It’s a bit cramped inside, but we know exactly where everything is. My partner and I have worked together for decades. We don't always agree on every little thing, but we get the job done. We’ve seen the market change from a small local spot to a huge, busy hub. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or marketing tricks. If someone wants something, we show it to them and tell them the price. It’s simple and honest. Sometimes we sit outside on stools when it’s slow and watch the world go by. It’s a life we’re used to and we wouldn't have it any other way. We’re just two guys running a shop in the middle of a busy bazar. Sometimes we stay open late if the market is buzzing, other times we close early if it's dead.
