Maidens Hotel

You will find us at 7 Sham Nath Marg. This building has been here for a very long time, and you can tell when you walk through the doors. It isn't like those modern glass buildings you see everywhere else in the city now. We have high ceilings and thick walls that keep the heat out. Maidens Hotel has a lot of history, but we do not try to act like a museum. It is a place where people actually live and stay. We spend a lot of time looking after the gardens and the old woodwork. It is a lot of maintenance to keep an old place like this going, but we think it is worth it. The staff here has been around for ages, some of them for decades. We know the squeaks in the floorboards and the best spots in the shade. It is a bit quieter on this road than in other parts of town, which is nice for the guests. We do not have a bunch of flashy neon signs or loud music. It is more about sitting in the courtyard and having a quiet drink. We just try to keep the atmosphere calm. It is a big house, really, and we treat it that way. We are not trying to be the newest or the trendiest spot. We just want to keep things running the way they always have for everyone who visits us.
