Mahavira Tractors

We’ve been over at Mori Gate, Plot No. 2760/B, for a long time. If you know Delhi, you know how hectic Mori Gate can be. It’s a hub for everything mechanical. Our shop, Mahavira Tractors, has been here for years. We mainly deal with tractor parts and helping people get their machines back in the field. The shop is quite small and it’s packed from floor to ceiling with boxes of gears, pistons, and fan belts. It smells like old metal and grease in here, which I don’t mind. I started working here when I was a teenager, helping my father. Now I run the place with my cousin. We don't have any computers for the inventory. We just know where everything is by memory. If someone asks for a specific part for an old model, we can usually find it in one of the back corners. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and people carrying heavy loads. It’s very noisy, but you stop noticing it after an hour. We spend a lot of our day talking to customers who come from far away. They usually want to know if we have a cheaper part or something that will last longer. We give them a seat and some water and talk it through. We don't have any big goals of being a giant company. We just like being the place people can rely on for their tractor needs.
