Maharaja Hotel

Our hotel is tucked away at 1483 Fatehpuri, on SP Mukherjee Marg. If you know where the old Novelty Cinema is, we’re just behind it. This is a really old part of Delhi, so the streets are narrow and always full of life. The building has been here for ages, and it shows its age in some spots. We don't try to hide that. It’s got a bit of character that you don't find in those new hotels. We have rooms for people who are visiting the markets nearby or just passing through. It can get pretty noisy outside with all the rickshaws and vendors, but that’s the heart of the city for you. We keep the rooms as tidy as we can. It’s a simple setup—a bed, a fan, and a place to wash up. We don't have a fancy lobby or a concierge. Usually, someone from the family is sitting at the front desk to help you out. We’ve seen the neighborhood change so much, but our corner stays mostly the same. A lot of our guests are traders who come to the markets year after year. They know us and we know them. We don't spend money on ads. People find us because they want to be in the middle of Fatehpuri. It’s a practical place to stay if you don't mind the hustle and bustle of Old Delhi.
