Kalka Herbs and Agri Machines is located in Chirag Dilli. It’s a crowded part of Delhi, and our space is right in the middle of it. We have a bit of a strange mix of products—herbs on one side and machine parts on the other. It might seem odd to some, but it makes sense to us. We’ve been in Chirag Dilli for quite some time. The streets are narrow and it’s always loud with the sound of bikes and people talking. Our shop is small and a bit cluttered. We have boxes stacked up and the smell of dried herbs is always in the air. We don’t have any fancy displays or marketing materials. We just know our stuff and we help the people who come in looking for something specific. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or farmers who come into the city for supplies. We spend our days weighing out herbs or looking for the right gear for a machine. It’s hands-on work. We aren't trying to be a corporate giant. We’re just a local business trying to make a living. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same things we’ve always done. It’s a busy, slightly chaotic life, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We focus on the day to day and keep it moving.
