You can find us at Shop Number 5 inside Hotel Maurya, which is part of the Sheraton Diplomatic Enclave. It sounds like a very fancy place, but our office is actually quite small and tucked away. Lucrative Commercial Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for a while. Being inside a hotel means it is a lot quieter than the streets outside. You don't hear the horns or the shouting, just the hum of the air conditioning. I spend my days sitting at the desk, checking emails and talking to the people who walk past. Not everyone who comes in is a customer; sometimes it’s just guests from the hotel who are lost or looking for a recommendation. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who have known each other for years. It’s a comfortable place to work. We keep our files organized, or at least we try to. The coffee at the hotel is good, so we drink a lot of it while we work. We don't really do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they happen to be staying at the Sheraton. It’s a steady pace of work, nothing too frantic. We like the quiet atmosphere here. It allows us to focus on the tasks at hand without too many distractions from the outside world. It works for us.
