Lemon Tree Hotels over in Laxman Park. This spot at B-5/2 is where we handle things. It’s right in Chander Nager. Delhi-51 is a busy part of town and we see a lot of different people coming through. It's not one of those massive hotels you see on TV, more of a local operation at this specific address. We spend a lot of time checking rooms and making sure the laundry is done. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for guests to park, but we help them out. The staff here is pretty small. We mostly just focus on getting through the day and making sure nobody has a reason to complain. We don't use fancy words for what we do. It's basically just beds and breakfast and making sure the water is hot. If the AC acts up, we fix it. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years. We remember when there were fewer shops around. Now it's crowded but that brings in more people. We don't have a big fancy office, just a desk and some phones. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running in the Delhi heat. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay friendly. Most people are just looking for a place to sleep and we provide that. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s just us here in Chander Nager. We keep the keys on a board behind the main desk. It's a simple life.
