Le Meridien New Delhi

Our office for Le Meridien New Delhi is tucked away on the second floor of a building in Kalkaji, at E-18. It’s not the big hotel building itself, but a place where we handle a lot of the background work. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep and the lighting in the hallway isn’t the best. Inside, it’s just a regular office space. We have a few desks and a lot of phone lines. Kalkaji is a very crowded market area, so there’s always something going on outside. Finding a parking spot is almost impossible most days. We usually take the metro to avoid the mess. The office is a bit small for the number of people we have, so it gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once. We have a small kettle for making tea and coffee. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the printer usually acts up when we are in a hurry. We aren't here to look fancy; we are just here to get the data entered and the calls answered. It’s a very practical environment. We know the other people working on the same floor, and we often chat while waiting for the lift. It’s just a normal day-to-day life in a busy Delhi neighborhood.
