Kor Kala Designs is located in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II. Our address is Z-44. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a hub of activity with trucks and delivery vans constantly moving through the narrow streets. Phase-II is particularly busy. Our building is a solid industrial structure that fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. Inside, we have our design studio and a bit of storage space. It’s a functional place, not something meant for a magazine cover. We have high ceilings and some big windows that let in a bit of light, but it’s mostly artificial bulbs. The dust from the industrial area is a constant battle, so we’re always wiping down the tables. We focus on the design work here, and the atmosphere is usually quite busy. There’s no fancy lobby or a receptionist to take your coat. We just have our workstations and the tools we need for our daily tasks. The traffic in Okhla can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we often end up staying a bit later just to avoid the worst of it. It’s a gritty, hardworking part of South Delhi, and our space reflects that. We just do our designs and handle the business side of things from Z-44 without making any big fuss about it. It works for us and keeps the lights on.
