E Travel

You can find E Travel at No. 33 in Karampura. It is a small office, nothing too big or flashy. We have two desks and a couple of chairs for people who drop by. The street outside is usually pretty noisy with the local market and people walking by all day. We spend most of our time on the computer looking at routes and tickets. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We started this because we liked the idea of helping people get from one place to another without too much fuss. There is an old ceiling fan that clicks while it spins but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the systems work. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a bit to confirm things, which can be frustrating. We keep a stack of old magazines on the side table for anyone waiting. Most of our regulars are from the neighborhood. They just walk in and ask what the best way to get to Punjab or over to the airport is. We don't use big words or try to sell anyone on things they don't need. It is just a straightforward travel desk. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts.
