It’s not a hotel itself, but it’s the place where we handle all the administrative work for our locations. We’ve been in this apartment complex for a good many years. It might feel a bit more like a home than an office, with files stacked on the tables and a small kitchen where we make our tea. We aren't a big, polished corporate entity with a huge PR team. We’re just a group of people who know the hospitality business inside and out. Our days are spent dealing with reservations, talking to the staff at the hotels, and making sure the bills get paid on time. It’s not always easy, especially when things get busy during the travel season, but we stay on top of it. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We just do the work that needs to be done. Alaknanda is a decent place to be based, it’s a bit quieter than some other parts of Delhi, which is nice when you have a lot of paperwork to get through. We’ve been part of the city for a long time and we just keep doing what we know best, which is keeping the business running from our little spot in Nilgiri.
