You can find us over at 731-C/7 on the second floor in Govindpuri, which is right in the Kalkaji area of New Delhi. It is a busy, crowded neighborhood, but that’s where all the action is for a business like Jmkc Textile Industry. Our office is usually full of activity from the moment we open the doors in the morning. We deal with all kinds of textile manufacturing and trade, so there are always samples of cloth hanging around or draped over chairs. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, old chairs, and a lot of fabric swatches that we haven't quite organized yet. We have a small group of people working here who really know their stuff when it comes to cloth and tailoring. Sometimes the noise from the street is a lot, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re some huge corporation with a fancy lobby. We’re just a local business trying to do right by our customers and keep the daily tasks moving along. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the textiles and making sure orders are being filled on time. It can be a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially when deadlines are tight and the phone won't stop ringing. But we enjoy the work and the people we deal with.
