Jawahar Exports

You can find Jawahar Exports at 40493, right near the Ram Lila Ground in Geeta Colony. We are close to the Delhi G P O area as well. Even though the name says exports, we are just a small team working out of this space. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if the traffic is bad near the ground, especially when there’s a festival or a fair going on. The building is older, and the stairs are a little steep. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and checking lists. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of tape and cardboard involved. I’ve been working here for a long time, and I’ve seen a lot of people come and go. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come to see us, you’ll probably have to move a stack of papers to find a place to sit. We drink way too much tea during the day to stay awake. It gets quite hot in the summer because the building doesn't have great ventilation, so we keep the big industrial fans going all day long. We just try to get the orders out on time. There’s no big philosophy behind it. We have work to do, and we do it. The neighborhood is loud, but it has a lot of energy which I like. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, but we just wait it out.
