Crafto Pashmina Shawls

You can find us at No. 78 Janpath. If you know Delhi, you know Janpath is a place where there's always a lot going on. We deal in Pashmina shawls. Our shop isn't one of those massive showrooms you see in malls. It’s a more traditional space where we keep our stock. We spend a lot of time showing people the different weaves and explaining where the wool comes from, though we try not to talk too much. The shawls take up most of the room. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding all day long. Janpath gets very crowded, especially with tourists and locals looking for something specific. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. The shawls kind of speak for themselves when people feel the fabric. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the street, but we try to keep the stock clean. We aren't a big corporation with a CEO. It’s just us running the shop and making sure we have enough variety for whoever walks in. Some days are long, and we stay open late when the market is busy. We don’t have a website that does much; we mostly just rely on people walking by and seeing what we have in the window. It’s a straightforward business in a very busy part of the city. We enjoy meeting the different people who stop by our little corner.
