Raindrop Fashions

Raindrop Fashions is situated at No. A3/18-20 in Chankya Place, right across from C-1 Janak Puri. It’s a decent spot in a busy neighborhood where there are always people walking by and cars looking for parking. Our shop has a wide front that looks out onto the street, so we see everything that goes on in the area. Inside, the walls are covered in racks of clothes, and we try to keep things organized by color, though that doesn't always last long when we are busy. We have a small fitting area in the back that is basically just a curtained-off corner. The floor is tile and it’s always a bit dusty from people coming in and out from the sidewalk. We don't have a lot of fancy lighting, just some basic bulbs that keep the place bright enough. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others here during the day. We spend a lot of time folding clothes and chatting with the people who live nearby and drop in to see what we have. Sometimes the afternoons are quiet, and we just sit near the door and listen to the radio. When the festivals come around, the place gets absolutely packed, and we are working from morning until late at night. We don't have a big corporate strategy; we just try to have enough stock on the shelves and keep the place running smoothly. It’s a simple neighborhood business and we like it that way.
