Jai Pee Residency Manor Massoorie

Even though the name says Massoorie, we are actually working out of Nanak Chand Basti in Kotla Mubarkpur. We are tucked away in New Delhi-110003. It is a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't used to the narrow lanes of the Basti. This isn't the actual hotel where people go for holidays; it is more like the back-end spot where we handle the administrative side of things for Jai Pee Residency Manor. The office is plain and functional. We have a few old fans and some computers that take a while to boot up in the morning. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at records. The neighborhood is very lived-in. You see neighbors talking and kids playing right outside the door. It feels more like a home than a business sometimes because of the location. We don’t have a big reception area or a lobby. It is just a few rooms where we manage the paperwork. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we usually have a cooler running that makes a lot of noise. We try to stay on top of the work, but it’s a lot of manual sorting. People here are friendly, and we usually share lunch at one of the big tables. It is just a regular day-to-day operation in a busy Delhi neighborhood.
