Itdc,The Ashok Hotel

You can find our office at A-1 Arjun Nagar, which is tucked away in the Safdarjung Enclave area of New Delhi. A lot of people hear the name "The Ashok Hotel" and think of the huge building elsewhere, but this is a smaller administrative spot for ITDC. The streets around Arjun Nagar can be a bit confusing and narrow, so we often have to tell people to look for the specific landmarks nearby. It is a fairly quiet office compared to the main hotels. We deal with a lot of paperwork, files, and coordination tasks here. There are a few of us sharing the space, and it gets a bit crowded when we have meetings. The furniture is the standard government-style stuff, functional and heavy. We have been in this location for quite some time, so we know all the local tea vendors and the shopkeepers on the corner. The building is older, and sometimes the plumbing or the lights need a bit of fixing, but we just call the maintenance guy and keep working. We do not have a fancy reception area or anything like that; it is just a place where the behind-the-scenes work gets handled. Most of our day is spent at our desks or moving files from one room to another. It is a very normal, slightly cramped office life, but we get the job done without much fuss.
