Itc The Maurya Hotel

This place is located at House No 10872/20 in the Pratap Nagar area of Delhi. It’s not one of those massive buildings you see in the movies, but a more tucked-away spot where people come when they need a place to sleep. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the water is running right. The neighborhood around here is pretty active, so there is always some sound from the street coming in. We don’t have a big shiny lobby with marble everywhere. It is more of a simple setup where you get your key and go to your room. Sometimes the hallway is a bit narrow and we have to move stuff around to make space. It’s been here in Delhi for some time now. Guests come from different places, some just for a night and others for longer. We keep the registers on the desk and try to remember the faces of the people who stay often. Managing a hotel in a place like Pratap Nagar means dealing with all sorts of small things every day, like fixing a light or talking to the laundry guys. It’s honest work and we just do it day by day. There isn’t a lot of extra decoration, just the basics that a person needs when they are away from home. We keep things pretty quiet and don't bother the guests unless they need something fixed in their room.
