Intercontinental The Grand,New Delhi

Our office is over at 5/27 B in Jangpura B, specifically in the Bhogal area. It is a busy part of New Delhi with lots of shops and people moving around all the time. We handle things for the hotel from this spot. It is not the main big building you might see on the postcards, but this is where a lot of the actual work happens. The rooms here are filled with desks and papers. We have been in this neighborhood for quite some time. You can hear the sounds of the street from the windows. Sometimes the tea seller comes by and we take a quick break. It is a practical setup. We do not have fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and maybe a few photos of the family. The staff here knows the back lanes of Bhogal very well. We walk to the market for lunch or grab something from the stalls nearby. Managing a big name like Intercontinental The Grand means there is always something to do. Emails need answering and schedules need fixing. We do not use big words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of people working in an office in Jangpura. It gets hot in the summer and we turn the fans up high. We just keep our heads down and make sure everything runs the way it should. It is just steady work here.
