Intercontinental The Grand

So, we are located at 68/5372 Regar Pura in the middle of Karol Bagh. If you know this part of New Delhi, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Being at Intercontinental The Grand means we are right in the thick of it. The building is a bit of a landmark for us, even if the streets around it are narrow and full of rickshaws. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the market outside. We spend a lot of time just keeping things moving. There’s always someone checking in or asking where to get the best street food nearby. The staff here has been around for a long time. We have a routine that involves a lot of walking up and down the halls and checking the rooms. It’s not like those corporate places where everything is stiff. We talk to each other, we have our lunch together in the small back room, and we deal with whatever guest issues come up as they happen. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we have to scramble to get the backup going. That’s just life in Karol Bagh. We try to keep the lobby looking decent, but it’s a lived-in space. It feels like a second home to most of us who work the long shifts here every day. It’s just a normal hotel trying to do things right in a very busy city.
